new tops

i was given these tees the other day, i've already cut up and worn the last two, and will hopefully get around to doing the david bowie one and the purple tie dye one today. (i gave the first one to my boyfriends mate.)

i posted a look last night with the orange tee tucked into my favourite studded shorts that i brought in thailand.

i went shopping yesterday and got these earrings in a pair and i just love them.

i also brought a black headband/turband, a dark red/burgundy knitted cardigan with black elbow patches from H&M and some really comfy leopard print joggers from there too (just to wear when going out for a run etc). overall was quite a good day :)

planning to get my tattoo at the beginning of next month (september).

just photoshopped this... not too sure why because this isn't in the place i want my tattoo and its not the same design, but i thought it was cool to see what it looked like. i do really like this, but i prefer the idea of having it on my ribs where i can cover it up when necessary.

p.s. i'm not great on photoshop! aha

it was super windy yesterday when we took these and we came so close to giving up.

i got this dress purely because i love the back of it, i don't think i've ever seen a dress like it on the high street. i think i'll be stocking a couple in LBB's next collection, what do you think? would you buy it?

dirty dancing

my look today, not sure what inspired me. the caption is just because i've had an urge to watch dirty dancing all day (also just found out they're re-making the movie, its a classic film that can't be and should be remade, especially with no paddy swayze). but anyway, i'm hoping to sell the skirt, clogs and largest ring on LLB in the near future, what do you guys think?

it was such a sunny day today, but so so windy, this was one of the only photos which didn't look like a crappy copy of the very famous photograph of Marilyn Monroe taken for "The Seven Year Inch" haha, my skirt was all over the place!

i love these shoes and wear them every chance i get, although i don't wear them much in the daytime as thats almost frowned upon by people in my town. i brought the oversized glasses hoping to get the lenses replaced with my prescription reading lens but after trying on decided they are way too massive to wear on a regular basis.

the nice guys from jcex should be here soooooon to deliver me a big parcel of new clothing and i literally cannot wait, mainly because for the first time in ages they're for me but also because i can test them out and if i like them i'll be getting more for the boutique which is cool.

right now i'm doodling some tattoo designs of a little dreamcatcher, hopefully be getting inked on my left side (ribs) very soon. i think before i get my first tattoo i'm going to get my ear pierced with a second hole, if i can at least brave that then a tattoo won't be too bad.

panda dog

last year i went to visit my dad in thailand where he lives in bangkok, we went to chatuchak market which is one of the biggest in the world - and the hottest place in the world too - they sell everything from candles to furniture to clothing to pets and also illegal pets such as monkeys. we often go while i'm out there and i love it, everything is so cheap and it all looks so pretty, but the only things i remember buying (due to it being to hot to concentrate on shopping) are my oversized vintage american brown leather satchel which i love and will get round to posting a photo asap, a "the smiths" tee and a few presents for people back home. we always go look around the pet section and hover around the puppies "aww"-ing (my dad always caves in and buys one so tries to get us out as quick as possible, he has four dogs now, the most recent being rambo, a gorgeous little english bulldog) anyway whilst wandering around this section my eye caught these two big fat fluffy little "things" at first and second glance they were pandas, i was amazed and extremely exited for a moment until i realised they were just dogs that had been spray painted to look like baby pandas... a craze i think started in japan which doesn't surprise me.

anyway i remembered this recently and though i'd try find a photo of one that looks similar because i'm sure when i tell people about the panda-dog they think i'm going mad!

its built into my mac and its bloody terrible quality, but heres a few shots of my DIY top i made today.

its an old tee that had these horrible batwing sleeves... i cut them off and lowered the neckline then wore my black bandeau (which you can get yourselves from littleblackbox)

i wore this tucked into my highwaist denim shorts this morning but right before i left the house decided it might be cold and changed into black leggings, and oh, i was wrong... it was a lovely sunny day today and i was very hot.

these are completely horrible photos i know, unedited and my makeup has totally worn off, sorry :) & also my hair is so messy because something buzzing got stuck under in it and i went mad jumping around until it flew out!

as the boutique is called "littleblackbox", my dad is having 1000 (yes i said that was way too many but he insisted) little black boxes made with our logo on! i can't wait to use them and package things up all nice, one of my favourite things would have to be getting home to a parcel yet to open, it just feels like christmas or a birthday, i love it and hope you guys will to when i get the boxes :) i'll be keeping you all updated.

also our clothing is yet to have any labels in them, so i'm having LBB labels made up, i cannot wait :) hope you've all had a great weekendXX

last night

i took photos of clothes for my boutique while my boyfriend sat in bed watching harry potter (the first one). i'm really pleased with how they turned out considering the struggle i had setting up the tripod in the right place haha, much harder than anticipated. i'm editing them as we speak so by the end of the day our first collection will be complete :)

i've had a lovely start to the day meeting up with a close friend, nadia, and having some lunch in our local cafe. we went into topshop and i found a gorgeous little aztec print bodycon dress, and she found some matching leggings, they looked great but we couldn't bring ourselves to buy them, uuuh oh.

galaxy nails

i've just spent a few hours attempting to create galaxy/space effect nails. they're really simple but take a lot of time and patience. i didnt take any step by step pictures but its quite easy, basically i painted my nails black, and then using a makeup sponge and quite a few different coloured nail varnishes (neon green, mint baby blue, bright blue, coral, dark greeny blue) i dabbed them onto the nail in different places, then painted over them with sparkly clear nail varnish whilst its still tacky so the colours blend in together.

thought it was about time to start a new blog, so this is my first post, i'll try and make it interesting.

this week i launched my online boutique, its called 'little black box' and i sell items that, hopefully, are unique and can't be found elsewhere. the official website is www.littleblackbox.bigcartel.com and the facebook page is www.facebook.com/littleblackboxshop have a look and drop us a comment with your thoughts.

so this morning i've been listening to die antwoord and watching the - not so sexy - firemen right outside my house putting out a roof fire across the road from me. today i'm hoping to finish photographing all my new stock for the shop, and maybe send for more stock, as it is payday and all.

with this blog i'll keep you all updated with what we're doing at little black box, i will also be using it as a personal blog, posting fashion inspiration, music, things i've been up to etc. i might put up the occasional photo of my outfits on here too, but today i'm chilling in my boyfriends tee and some short shorts, not my best look.
